Taylor Swift reportedly sued for keeping $2.5 million from canceled concert

Taylor Swift is allegedly being sued for $2.5 million funds that she collected in 2012 August from a concert that never took place. Not only the fans were hurt by her absence the pockets of many venders also took the blow.  TMZ reports state that The Capitol Hoedown in Ottawa, Canada was canceled due the producers inability to get everything organized before the date of the show which lost a ticket company quite a large sum of a money. Swift's actions are appalling and a bad example for the industry of entertainment. They emit a disengaged commitment to the laws that allow entertainers to do what they do.  The company is suing the country star for a $1.8 million refund. Swift's representative has said that she has yet to make a deal with the company or to even see the lawsuit.

I think Taylor Swift should return all of the money she received even though it wasn't her fault the show was cancelled. If she lost money due to someone else’s error she should try to recoup the money through the person who made the mistake and not through the people who did their job or the fans. But, I wonder how much she was aware of. After all she may have people who handle these things for her.

I think she deserves to be sued for not showing up. That is extremly rued to do to her fans for they wanted a show and paid to see her perfome. If i paid to go to a concert and the artist did not show up i would no longer supporter. Taylor Swift is a terrible person for doing this.
